Dancers will have the opportunity to learn what it takes to “be on set” with our Video Shoot Experience. They’ll learn original choreography from industry professionals and work with our professional videographer in this one of a kind experience! All dancers will receive a copy of the final video to share on social media & with friends & family!

What should I wear?
Costume Info for the Video Shoot will be sent out when the choreography is available.
Be aware we will be taking shots from many angles and may be shooting outside so be mindful of skirts or billowy tops.
Can I bring options?
We ask that once you choose your outfit that will be what you wear exclusively for the shoot to maintain continuity.
What kind of make-up or hair should I wear?
Think stage makeup but a bit lighter- with the bright lights it’s easy to get washed out so make sure to have lip stick, mascara, foundation etc. For hair, rock whatever makes you feel confident but make sure any fly aways are slicked down. Feel free to bring hair spray, gel, and a comb to keep it tamed during the shoot!
What shoes should I bring?
Bring both normal street shoes that match your outfit & tap shoes that compliment your outfit! Colored customs are allowed if you have them.
What should I expect from the Video Shoot Experience?
One of our RSTC Directors and our videographers will be there to help you look & perform your best. We ask that you come “show ready” in both your performance, knowledge of your footwork, and outfit. The process moves quickly like a professional shoot. Your goal is to have fun, be prepared, and we will make sure you look fabulous!
Can parents watch?
Our Video Shoot is a great time for your dancer to learn how to be a professional and stay focused on the process. Parents won’t be admitted on set or in rehearsal. We want parents to be surprised with the end result!!
How can I prepare for the experience?
Once you learn your choreography practice it as many different ways as possible — we are going to move quickly & dancing in front of a camera feels very different than a stage performance. The better you know it in your body the better your experience!!!
Will there be breaks for snacks/dinner?
Each group of dancers will have short breaks to rest & grab a snack.
Feel free to send snacks & waters with your dancer. (These may not be shared due to COVID) All dancers will have a short food break and if you'd like to drop off dinner during their break, that would be great!
How soon do I get to see the video? Can I also purchase it?
Our video shoot is edited and showcased post-event on social media! We will release the video to share on social media and we will allow you to share the link with friends. It is not for purchase.
How much does the video shoot cost?
$265 for 10-Month & $315 for 2-Month Contracts.
